We left St. George at 6:00 pm and drove up to Cedar Mountain and unloaded the 4-wheelers. We loaded up all our gear on 'the mule' and headed up the trail that we went on our stake trek last summer. It was so much nicer to be riding rather than walking this time! We set up our tent at dusk, roasted some some-mores and watched the movie "Nim's Island" on our lap top. Dan cooked us a wonderful Pan cake breakfast in the morning and then we rode a few more miles up to the little mountain lake that we discovered last summer. The boys stripped down to their boxers and swam in the cold mountain lake water while I read on a blanket and Dan rested. We were back to St. George by 4:00 pm so we could watch the BYU game. Nice get away!
