Neighborhood Party

Alyson Lukenga and decided it was time for a neighborhood party. So even though it was 107 degrees we had a great turn out and lots of fun. We put up a slip and slide and Dan put together a mist system in the tree. We had water guns and water fights and lots of great food. It was really a great time. We used to do these all the time, but I guess we just got busy. It was a good time for everyone!  

Alexa's 5th Birthday Party

 We drove down to Las Vegas to celebrate Alexa's 5th birthday with her. We celebrated a few days early because they were leaving town on her actual birthday.  She had a fun water party, had a pinata, had snow cones and received a few presents from her parents and us. 

She got lots of beginning reader books since she will start school next fall. 

She is a beautiful, smart and kind girl. We love her and brother Bennett, so much!!

Lindsey refinished the chair and then just took these shots outside in her backyard. They are all so cute; I can't choose a favorite! 

Memorial Weekend in Phoenix

For Memorial weekend we went to Phoenix to help Carlton and Lindsey move into their house and remodel their kitchen. We got a condo for the week in Scottsdale. It had a nice pool but we only got to go there once. Danielle and Steve came down for the 3 day weekend. We enjoyed a nice Sunday picnic and they worked a lot of time on the house.

It is so great to be all together and within driving distance! I left the day after Millcreek's graduation. It has been a stressful year and I was ready for a get away. I had Lindsey's kids and drove down to Danielle's and then we all rode together in their van to Phoenix. The kids had flown home with Terri and family while Carlton and Lindsey drove across the country and did 5 high points. Terri drove down on Thursday with the kids and I met her in Beaver.

 This is the community pool that is right behind Lindsey's house. We went swimming a few times. Alexa was learning how to dive. Lindsey and family will enjoy a pool while they are living in Phoenix.

Dan stayed an extra day to finish some work on Lindsey's house. Dawson and I drove home a bus that Art and Apryl had us buy and bring back to them. It was a hot day and we had a few issues, but we made it to Las Vegas and spent the night. It was about 10:00 and we were tired. My car was there since I rode down there with Danielle and Steve. We drove home on Sunday morning I was able to make it to RS.
